"The Right Way to Be Fired" is being submitted by the HARVARD BUSINESS REVIEW for a national magazine award.

In August, 2001 the HARVARD BUSINESS REVIEW published "The Right Way to Be Fired," a series of three articles focusing on corporate and individual responsibility in managing the Senior Executive Assignment Cycle(TM). The article was written by Dr. Laurence J. Stybel and Maryanne Peabody of Stybel Peabody/Lincolnshire of Boston.

In December, Larry and Maryanne spoke to trustees of New England hospitals at the New England Healthcare Assembly. Their topic was "Defining and Re-Defining the CEO Mandate."

During 2001, the following major publications had stories about how Lincolnshire helps companies: BUSINESS WEEK, FORTUNE, DER SPIEGEL, CNN, ABC NEWS and THE WALL STREET JOURNAL.

In February, 2002 Larry will give a keynote speech at the national convention of the Financial Executives International in New York City. His topic is "Framed to Fail: How Companies Mis-Structure New Assignments and What You Can Do About It." FEI is the global professional association of senior financial executives. A similar talk will be given at the Harvard Business School Alumni Association meeting in January, 2001.
