Coupled with its focused evaluation, it helps individuals determine their personal work styles, as well as which type of supervisor and work environment they need to be the most successful. The Mulling Factor’s© basic premise is every individual has an ideal type of supervisor and type of work environment. There are four different categories of each. An individual can have muted scores of five points or less, which indicates they can be successful with either one of these supervisors or work environments. There is no other assessment tool available that indicates the ideal supervisor and work environment in this format. This makes The Mulling Factor© unique. Where there is mis-employment, 65% of the time it is due to a misfit with the supervisor, 35% of the time with the work environment and only 5% of the time with the type of work.
