LINCOLNSHIRE INTERNATIONAL BUILDS THE HIGHLY PRODUCTIVE TEAMS
In order for organizational teams to be productive, there must be "some" team members from each of the following categories . . .
- Organizers - Doers
- Directors - Talkers
- Planners - Thinkers
- Controllers - Guardians
Without this dynamic mix, dysfunction and/or less than maximum productivity often results.
It is also important to understand individual stress behaviors, since these can also affect a team's productivity.
In order to assess the behaviors of individuals and/or teams, Lincolnshire International uses an assessment questionnaire and a resulting report/profile which has been used for assessing over two million people. We have found it to be exceptionally accurate in helping individuals and teams to increase their personal and team productivity by understanding...
- Their personal goals and what interests them about their jobs;
- Their effective style in doing their job;
- What motivates them to produce that effective style;
- How they react under stress when that motivation is absent;
- How they can motivate themselves and others for greater productivity.
Subsequent to experiencing such behavior "profiling," participants will be able to…
- State what satisfies them about their job;
- Use their effective styles better to get the job done;
- Understand why others' styles may motivate or de-motivate them;
- Recognize and better avoid their own stress behavior;
- Know what to do to motivate those they work with toward more productive performance.
Until team members understand, accept and learn to work with differences in Interests/Goals, Effective Styles, Needs/Motivation and Stress Behaviors, any subsequent training courses in personal and team development may flounder – because trainees have no foundation on which to base the changes they are being encouraged to make.
